Never too Cold for Ice Cream

I don’t care if it’s 100 or 0 out, it’s always a good time for ice cream.  It’s the one sweet we always have in our freezer.  The only two flavors I don’t like are Rocky Road and Pistachio, other than those, it’s game on.  Now, I have even more options.

http://www.thebrewerscow.com/index.html is the website for the Old Lyme Ice Cream Shoppe.  It was bought last year by two friends of mine and now it is open and doing business.  Their specialty:  beer flavored ice cream.

That’s right boys and girls, two of your favorites combined into one sweet combo.  I’ve had the Guinness and its spectacular.  The Ten Penny Ale, just as good.  Can’t wait to try the others.  Of course the coup de gras:  a Guinness Ice Cream float.  Yep it’s exactly what you think it is.

Intrigued yet?  Go on down to Old Lyme to check ’em out.  It’s worth the trip, I promise.
